FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for surgical repair of lateral meniscus root ruptures in combined injury of knee ligaments. With the patient in the supine position, with the operated lower extremity in the orthopaedic fixator with a free-hanging shin in the flexion position in the knee joint under the tourniquet, the knee joint is inspected from the anteromedial and anterolateral ports. Stump of the anterior cruciate ligament is removed; the root attachment area of the lateral meniscus is treated with a curette and a rasp to form a bleeding surface. Anatomical guide with orientation along the posterior cruciate ligament is used to form an anatomical tibial canal of the required diameter depending on the diameter of the resulting graft of semitendinosus and gracilis muscles tendons. Further, an anatomical femoral canal is formed with a guide from the medial port, followed by suturing of the meniscus root using one or two sutures with the formation of lasso sutures or simple interrupted sutures, after which the ends of the sutures are delivered into the formed tibial canal. Further, the graft of the anterior cruciate ligament is delivered through the femoral and tibial canals and fixed in the femur with a suspension button. After tensioning the autograft and the sutures of the sutured meniscus root, perform fixation in the femoral bone with a screw or screw with a sleeve in the knee joint flexion position of 30 degrees. Anatomic structure of the graft and the meniscus root is checked at different angles of flexion in the knee joint.
EFFECT: method provides reducing the length of the operation, reducing the technical complications, reducing the number of used fixators and reducing the number of injuries due to the peculiarities of the refixation of the lateral meniscus root.
