FIELD: medicine; traumatology and orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for surgical treatment of patients with meniscus root tear. The method includes performing arthroscopy, suturing the meniscus root with a double thread using a lasso-type suture, forming a bone tunnel in the tibia, passing the threads in the formed tunnel and fixing them on the bone. One of the two threads of the lasso seam is taken out of the knot, and the lasso seam is tightened. Using the withdrawn thread and the lasso suture thread, three knots are formed over the lasso suture at the root of the meniscus. Threads are passed through a canal in the tibia, which is formed on the opposite side of the damaged meniscus to the site of the native attachment of the meniscus root.
EFFECT: method ensures restoration of range of motion in the knee joint due to the peculiarities of suturing.
