FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, in particular to production of ceramic material in form of magnesium-substituted calcium-zirconium phosphate. It can be used in traumatology and orthopaedics. To prepare the solution, zirconium, phosphorus, magnesium and calcium precursors are used in the form of zirconium (IV) acetylacetonate, magnesium acetate, tributyl phosphate and calcium oleate in molar ratio Ca:Zr:P:Mg 1.35–1.4:4:8.1–8.4:0.35–0.7. Zirconium, phosphorus and magnesium precursors are dissolved at 40–50 °C in ethyl alcohol, and the calcium precursor is dissolved in colophony. Obtained solutions are mixed, heated to 80 °C and solvent is removed. Mixture is subjected to heat treatment at 500 °C for 30 minutes to form an amorphous powder. Obtained powder is crushed and subjected to pyrolysis at temperature of 1,200 °C for 30 minutes.
EFFECT: obtaining sintered magnesium-substituted calcium-zirconium phosphate with high density.
