FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method for production of magnesium-substituted tricalcium phosphate is described. It is used to obtain biocompatible coatings applied in maxillofacial surgery and traumatology for the manufacture of intratissue implants and includes preparation of charge, which is a mixture of powders, and burning, where a mixture of magnesium pyrophosphate and calcium carbonate with a mass ratio of 1:1 mole is used as the charge. Charge burning is carried out at a temperature of 1120-1180°C for 5-7 hours. Furthermore, during the charge preparation magnesium pyrophosphate is used in a stoichiometric ratio of Mg/P=1.67 produced by liquid-phase synthesis.
EFFECT: increased biocompatibility by obtaining magnesium-substituted tricalcium phosphate from magnesium pyrophosphate produced by liquid-phase synthesis, and calcium carbonate.
