FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of annular propellers using jet force of jets in combination with ejection principle of air or liquid flow creation. It can be used in development of highly efficient, maneuverable, noiseless propulsors of both aircraft and amphibious vehicles used both in national economy and in national defense. Proposed propulsor comprises housing made up of ring-like disc with oval surface and additional smaller-diameter disc arranged under said housing on one axis of symmetry with circular gap and drive shaft. Additional disk of smaller diameter is made with oval surface, the annular gap between the annular disc and the additional disc arranged under it has a decreasing cross-section as it moves away from the axis of their symmetry. Drive shaft is connected to the additional disk, and the additional disk is rigidly connected to the ring-shaped disk.
EFFECT: ring propulsor.
