FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: on day 2-5 of the ischemic stroke, 24-hour cardiorespiratory monitoring is performed, with an estimate of the number of apnea episodes during nighttime sleep. If 123 or less apnea episodes are recorded, post-stroke functional recovery is predicted as favorable, and at a value of more than 123 - as unfavorable.
