FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a positioning device for holding SMD components in automatic devices for installing SMD components. Technical result is achieved by a positioning device for holding SMD components packed in cases, obtained by layer-by-layer deposition of filamentary composite ABS plastic using additive printing technologies on 3D printer and including a window for mounting a case with components. At that, the case with components installation window is additionally equipped with the components intake window with the hole and the vacuum supply channel, and in the housing of the device there is a window for monitoring the installation of the case.

EFFECT: providing reliable gripping and retention of SMD component in constant gripping area without program adjustment and dismantling of device for replacement of case.
