FIELD: applied meteorology; ecology.

SUBSTANCE: device for cleaning air pools of the city of Krasnoyarsk from smog and pollutants in the surface layer in the water area of the Yenisei in summer, intended for changing atmospheric conditions due to natural convection and creating an ascending air flow when using the air temperature difference near the water surface and the layers heated above, includes tower in form of cone with black enclosure coating for thermal heating of air in tower due to solar energy. Tower is installed with the help of support platforms in the base on two spaced from each other floating facilities in the form of barges oriented against the flow of the Yenisei river in the longitudinal direction, and is designed to create an ascending air flow in it due to the air temperature difference near the water surface and the heated air layers in said tower, promoting the occurrence of thrust near the tower, air movement, carry-over and dispersion of harmful impurities from the surface zone into the upper layers of the atmosphere. At the top of the tower there is a nozzle with a conical base and an L-shaped outlet branch pipe oriented towards the object or area of the area, located near tower and intended for cleaning of adjacent air space, carried out by creating thrust due to upward movement of less dense layers of heated air in tower and variable motion vector of heated air flow exiting from L-shaped nozzle in horizontal and vertical directions.

EFFECT: improvement of the device for cleaning air pools of cities from smog and pollutants in the surface layer in order to increase the area of the cleaned air pool.
