SUBSTANCE: method involves positioning screen from heat-insulating material adjacent to Earth surface, with screen surface exposed to solar radiation being blackened; concentrating solar radiation on blackened surface of screen by mirror. Screen may be positioned at a distance from Earth surface without contacting it to increase efficiency of method.
