FIELD: antenna devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in radio communication, geophysics and geology for underground radiation of radio signals in communication systems, when logging wells and investigating subsurface layers of the earth by probing with electromagnetic pulses, it can also be used in pulsed radar systems and security systems. Said technical result is achieved by the fact that a georadar transmitter comprising series-connected high-voltage power supply, a storage capacitor, discharger and transmitting antenna, additionally comprises a transmitting antenna screen and series-connected one more storage capacitor and a discharge resistor, wherein the high-voltage bipolar power supply is connected to the storage capacitors first terminals, the second terminals of which are connected to the transmitting antenna screen dipole resistors, as well as capacitors discharge current adjustment circuit, made with the possibility of changing the resistance of the discharge circuit relative to the common point of the high-voltage bipolar power supply connected to the screen of the transmitting antenna.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of changing the antenna pattern of a georadar transmitter in the azimuthal plane.
