SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a porous hollow fibre membrane used to remove viruses from a solution containing regenerated cellulose, a method for removing viruses from a liquid containing a biological preparation using a hollow fibre membrane, and to a method for checking integrity of a membrane module filled with said porous membrane. Membrane contains regenerated cellulose having elastic limit pressure of 200 kPa or more, wherein membrane thickness is in range of 20 mcm or more and 70 mcm or less.

EFFECT: invention provides the creation of a regenerated cellulose-containing hollow fibre membrane, which enables to evaluate the improved particle removal property by means of a leak test, as well as a method of checking integrity of a membrane module containing a porous hollow fibre membrane using a tightness test method.
