FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flow heaters of inductive-resistive type and can be used for heating products during their transportation through a pipeline. Heater built in pipeline comprises cylindrical housing, induction winding from insulated conductor with output ends, magnetic core, as well as a pipe, which has end sections made with possibility of embedding a heater into said pipeline. Pipe is installed inside the cylindrical housing coaxially with it, and on the sides of the end sections of the cylindrical housing there are sealing assemblies, which tightly close the gap between the inner surface of the cylindrical housing and the outer surface of the pipe so that there is a sealed space between the inner surface of the cylindrical housing and the outer surface of the pipe. Induction winding is arranged in said sealed space and, at the same time, is wound on outer surface of pipe. Output ends of the induction winding are brought out through at least one of the sealing assemblies to the outside for connection of the output ends with an external power supply. Magnetic conductor is made with a constant cross section in the form of an open ring and is fixed in the said sealed space in such a position that the magnetic conductor envelopes the induction winding from the outside. Induction winding is electrically insulated from the outer surface of the pipe and from the magnetic conductor.
EFFECT: increasing energy efficiency of the heater due to significant reduction of heat power loss.
