FIELD: material processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to material processing by cutting; it can be used in rotary cutting tools. Cutting tool (20) contains cutting head (22) and tool shank (24), each of which has axial support surface (66, 102) and a set of mated surface (52, 88). One of specified two parts (22, 24) contains mounting pin (38), and the other contains receiving socket (80) for the pin and at least one clamping through hole (84), which is opened to receiving socket (80) for the pin. Mounting pin (38) is placed in receiving socket (80) for the pin. Cutting head (22) and tool shank (24) are connected to each other by a disconnected method by means of at least one clamping element (28), which passes through at least one clamping through hole (84) and interacts with mounting pin (38), provided that mated surfaces (52, 88) and axial support surfaces (66, 102) on each part (22, 24) rest on each other.
EFFECT: reliable connection of a cutting head is provided.
