FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermometry and can be used to measure temperature of medium or objects. Proposed method of measuring temperature, which consists in supplying a resistance thermometer connected by a double-wire line, shunted by a capacitor directly on its connecting contacts, voltage pulses through the reference resistor with a duty ratio, at which the average current through the resistance thermometer does not exceed the permissible value, measurement of voltage across the reference resistor U0 in steady-state mode at the end of the voltage pulse and voltage UTC at the input of the two-wire line at the first moment after disconnection of power. At that, resistance thermometer resistance RTC is calculated by measured values of voltage U0, UTC and value of reference resistor R0, and the temperature value is determined from the calibration characteristic of the resistance thermometer. At the same time, fluctuations of the measured voltage UTC at the input of the two-wire line are excluded due to the complete absorption of the incident wave by the shunted capacitor connected in series with the resistance thermometer, matching resistor with resistance equal to wave resistance of two-wire line.
EFFECT: reduction of temperature measurement error caused by the effect of resistance of the two-wire line and the transient process in the two-wire line at power failure.
