FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermometry and can be used in data collection systems to measure the temperature of media or objects. Proposed is a method for multichannel temperature measurement consisting in alternately powering n resistance thermometers bridged by capacitors through the corresponding lines and the total reference resistance with a voltage pulse with a duty cycle whereat the average current through the resistance thermometer does not exceed the permissible value. The voltage pulse is therein ended by disconnecting the reference resistor from the power source, the resistance of the resistance thermometer is determined from the results of measuring the voltage drop on the reference resistor at the end of effect of the voltage pulse and the voltage at the end of the line connected to the reference resistor, after disconnecting the reference resistor from the power source. The temperature is determined based on the value of resistance of the resistance thermometer.

EFFECT: reduction in the measurement error introduced by the double-wire line connecting the resistance thermometer with the collection system while the measuring circuits are significantly simplified.
