FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. A powder inhaler contains a case, which has a front wall, a back wall, a blister tape for the placement of a powder medication, a unit of toothed wheels for the blister tape transfer into the zone of opening, a mouthpiece for inhaling the powder medication and a swivelling protective cover for the mouthpiece covering. An inbuilt vortex grinder is located under a supplying drum for the blister tape, is connected with the mouthpiece and is made with a possibility of supplying in it an air flow by a tangent to the circumference of the internal surface to grind agglomerates of the powder medication. A window for the indication of the quantity of available doses of the medication is located on the lateral surface of the inhaler. The unit of toothed wheels, installed on axial projections of the back wall of the case, contains a ratchet, connected with the swivelling protective cover, the supplying drum for the transfer of the blister tape, interacting with the ratchet in such a way that with each rotation of the protective cover the supplying drum moves the blister tape for the powder medication into the zone of the dose supply. A device for underwinding of the covering tape after separation from the blister tape is made in the form of an interacting pinion and a spiral drum with a possibility of the uniform tension of the covering tape.
EFFECT: invention ensures bringing the inhaler into the working state by the minimal amount of the user's action and reliable indication of the available doses for inhalation.
