FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of aircraft shells from tubular billet. Device comprises a temperature-controlled container, in the cavity of the housing of which there is a collapsible forming matrix equipped with upper and lower clamping covers. External electric heater is installed around the matrix. Internal electric heater with a reflecting screen is installed vertically and coaxially in the center of the tubular billet. Housing of the reflecting screen together with the internal electric heater is rigidly and tightly fixed on the inner surface of the lower clamping cover of the matrix. In temperature-controlled container body bottom and in matrix lower pressure cover there are through holes with heat seals, in which the current supply bus is tightly installed.
EFFECT: enabling saving of electric power for billet heating to the required temperature and increasing the shell manufacturing efficiency.
