FIELD: tea industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing a functional tea composition, which includes drying, mixing black loose-leaf tea and vegetable raw materials containing sage leaves, lavender flowers and seagrass Zostera marina, collected from mid-July to mid-August, wherein sage leaves are dried at a temperature of not more than 40 °C in the shade; lavender flowers at temperature of 25–35 °C, seagrass Zostera marina is dried at a temperature of not more than 45 °C under conditions of constant aeration for 30–36 hours, wherein all vegetal raw materials are dried to moisture content within 14±1% at the following optimum ratio of components, wt.%: seagrass Zostera marina – 30; lavender flowers – 10; sage leaves – 10; black loose-leaf tea – 50.
EFFECT: method reduces power consumption and improves quality of the product.
