FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: present invention can be used for cleaning flue gases of boiler houses and other gas-producing equipment. Method of cleaning boiler flue gases from carbon dioxide using a centrifugal bubbling unit (CBU) includes the following stages: water from a tank for circulation of recirculated water for cleaning flue gases by means of circulation pumps is supplied to plate heat exchangers for cooling and heat transfer, where it gives off heat to chemically treated water, which is supplied to deaerator. After the heat exchangers, the cooled recirculated water is supplied to the centrifugal-bubbling apparatus (CBA) units, where it interacts with flue gases. Flue gases enter the CBA by means of smoke exhausters, are cleaned and give off heat and CO2 to recirculated water, after which the recirculated water flows down by gravity into a tank for circulating recirculated water. When H2CO3 concentration in recirculated water reaches the specified parameters, recirculated water is pumped from the tank for circulation into the second tank. In the second tank calcium hydroxide (slaked lime) is dosed into recirculated water, note here that recirculated water and calcium hydroxide are mixed with the help of electrically driven mixer arranged in second tank. As a result of the chemical reaction in the second tank, an aqueous solution of calcium carbonate CaCO3 (chalk) is formed. By means of pumps water solution from the second tank is supplied to chamber filter-press, where chalk is pressed into briquettes, and clean recirculated water is supplied again to the tank for circulation.
EFFECT: present invention is aimed at reduction of toxic wastes emitted into the natural environment, and saving fuel and energy resources due to use of thermal energy of exhaust gases in the technological scheme of the boiler house.
