FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of successively operating gas compressor units (GCU) with gas turbine drive (GTD) of gas compressor shop (GCC) of booster compressor station (BCS) of a gas field (GF) of oil and gas condensate field (OGCF), providing mechanized extraction of natural gas. Method of reducing fuel gas consumption by successively operating stages of GCU of booster compressor station includes control of automated process control system (ACS) of booster compressor station by operation of GCU stages with gas turbine drive (GTD), connected in series. ACS of integrated gas treatment plant (IGTP) performs continuous monitoring by its measuring means in real time compliance of actual volume of dried gas Qact supplied by IGTP to the main gas pipeline (MGP) to the dry gas production plan, which is set by the Qplan setting. Purpose of the invention is to provide for automatic maintenance of the specified plan for preparation of the volume of dried gas Qplan for the GP, to provide the internal consumers with the dried gas and to achieve distribution of pressure drop of raw gas created by bursts of booster compressor stations with due allowance for their energy efficiency, thus ensuring reduction of volume of fuel gas consumption.

EFFECT: disclosed method enables to automatically redistribute pressure difference of raw gas between queues of BCS in real time at various modes of its operation taking into account the current energy efficiency of the successively operating GTD queues, providing the gas processing unit, reducing the cost of preparing the dried gas for long-distance transport and reducing the carbon footprint during extraction of natural gas.
