SUBSTANCE: expandable implant for reconstruction of defects of the lower jaw according to the first version includes a frame for attachment to the chin projection and to a part of the lower jaw body, a retractable bar with holes, an articular capsule, round screw with external thread. Retractable beam is L-shaped and consists of two segments. Horizontal segment of the beam has a rectangular cross-section with a round hole inside and with an internal thread for installation of a sliding screw. Segment replacing the ramus and head of the lower jaw has a curved shape and is round in cross-section. Frame for attachment to chin projection and to part of lower jaw body consists of two parts, forming inside rectangular hole and connected to each other by fastening screws, has the shape of a parallelepiped with beveled faces and rounded edges, and a curved end in which there are holes. At the rear end of the frame there is a hole of rectangular cross-section for the retractable beam. Retractable screw at the end is fixed with a bushing and a connector. Retractable beam is made according to anthropometric data according to the technology of layer-by-layer fusion of finely dispersed metal powder. Articular capsule is made in the form of a cylinder with an internal cavity for the articular head and holes on the end face. Diameter of the cavity of the articular capsule exceeds the dimensions of the incoming articular head. On the back side of the articular capsule there is a support surface in the form of a wing for support on the articular cavity and the temporal bone, having holes for screws.
