FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to maxillofacial surgery and can be used for reconstruction of upper jaw, infraorbital area using an implant made by layer-by-layer selective laser melting. Implant of upper jaw, infraorbital area is made in form of a curved perforated plate of titanium, repeating the geometry of part of upper jaw, infraorbital area and equipped in upper part with mesh element bent inside eye socket, wherein the implant is in the form of an irregular triangle facing downward and is provided with three attachment means, wherein along the perimeter the implant is made of solid titanium, the perforation is made in the form of a porous three-dimensional structure with cells representing a tetrahedron, dodecahedron or octahedron formed by a plurality of ribs and braces, and the mesh element bent into the orifice has a rectangular shape. Using the implant provides individual alignment with the reconstructed face and the required mechanical characteristics of the implant: elasticity of cellular structure for osteointegrated elements – for titanium 1–5 GPa, elasticity of elements from beam structure 10–30 GPa at ultimate strength of not less than 7 MPa for compression, ultimate strength for solid structure of titanium used for attachment elements and articular surfaces – not less than 450 MPa by stretching.
EFFECT: task and technical result of invention is creation of standard design of implant from titanium for reconstruction of upper jaw, infraorbital area providing individual alignment with reconstructed face and required mechanical characteristics of implant: mesh structure elasticity for osteointegrated elements – for titanium 1–5 GPa, elasticity of elements from beam structure 10–30 GPa at ultimate strength of not less than 7 MPa for compression, ultimate strength for solid structure of titanium used for fasteners and articular surfaces is not less than 450 MPa for tension.
