FIELD: electric power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric power engineering and can be used to determine the degree of wear of rolling bearings of the main shaft of a wind-driven power plant. During the method implementation the variable component of the capacitances of these sensors is measured, if its value exceeds the specified value, then the shaft displacement signal is generated. Capacities are measured relative to the main shaft at points located in pairs on the vertical axis of its symmetry in the immediate vicinity of the bearings on the side of the wind drive and the reduction gear. Further, in each of the pairs of points, the variable component of the capacitance is selected, they are compared to each other, and if their difference exceeds the first predetermined value, then a signal is generated on the maximum permissible degree of wear of one of their bearings, and if their difference exceeds the second preset value, a signal is generated on the need to withdraw the wind-driven power plant from operation.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity and expansion of functional capabilities in case of application of rolling bearings.
