FIELD: training means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of education, to teaching aids as technical means of teaching in higher educational institutions, colleges and other educational institutions, where theoretical and technical mechanics is studied. Disclosed is a device for demonstrating the directions of translational-rotational movement of a flat structure, comprising a bed, vertically mounted screen rigidly mounted to the bed, movable rack mounted with screen, teeth of which engage with teeth of gear located above surface of rack teeth and driven by hand handle arranged on reverse side of vertical screen and having common axis with toothed gear. Axle is elongated, since a pulley is placed on it in addition to the toothed gear. Movable toothed rack is mounted vertically relative to the plane of the screen. By means of the hand handle rotation the toothed rack with its teeth engages with the gear teeth. Toothed gear rotates about its axis and makes the pulley rotate about the same axis. Belt passes along pulley groove. Same belt passes along the groove of the other pulley, which is located horizontally at the specified distance L from the previous pulley. Preset distance L is the distance of the axis, on which the gear with the pulley is fixed, from the mounting axis of the other pulley. Pulley rotates around its axis in the direction coinciding with the direction of rotation of the toothed gear placed on the same axis, and drives the belt. Belt, in its turn, transmits the direction of motion from the previous pulley to the other pulley, and both pulleys rotate in the same direction.

EFFECT: providing accurate and objective functioning of directions of movement of a flat structure.
