FIELD: image processing.

SUBSTANCE: method of generating a data file for ECG analysis comprises steps of: obtaining an ECG image made in 12 leads, for each lead, the corresponding ECG image is converted into a one-dimensional digital signal, detecting and separating the mesh on the ECG image by binarization and adaptive thresholding of the image; estimating the scale of the detected grid; detecting on the ECG image a signal which is a row of associated pixels corresponding to the signal, by Otsu thresholding and filtering with a median filter, so that in each image column for this lead there is only one pixel corresponding to the signal; and extracting a signal by converting said row of associated pixels corresponding to the signal, into a one-dimensional array of pixel coordinates and converting the pixel coordinates into signal values in accordance with the estimated grid scale on the vertical axis; and generating a data file for ECG analysis.

EFFECT: high accuracy and speed of training for analyzing ECG images.
