OCCLUSION CORRECTION METHOD Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61C13/00

Abstract RU 2822329 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to surgical dentistry, and can be used in bite correction of a patient. Anamnesis is collected, the patient’s oral cavity is examined, a photo protocol is taken, an X-ray examination is carried out, and the dentures are imprinted. Obtained data are loaded into the personal office of the doctor and a virtual treatment plan of the patient is created. Then, on the digital model of the patient, the teeth are displaced and the occlusion is corrected, and a fixed retainer in the form of a connector bar is placed on the required teeth on the lingual/palatal side. Connector bar is connected to attachments, each of which comprises a housing in the form of a conical tenon and a support platform in the form of a disc. Disc is integrated with the base of the housing, which is made for connection to the connector beam. Housing and support platform are equipped with stiffeners located on generatrixes of conical tenon and on generatrixes of disc. Housing stiffness ribs are arranged opposite surfaces located between support platform stiffness ribs. Support platform has a diameter which is 0.5–0.8 mm larger than the diameter of the base of the housing and is designed for installation on a lingual dental surface. Attachments and beam-connector are filled with photopolymer material and reinforced with metal arc, which repeats shape and length of connector bar. After filling, the photopolymer material is illuminated with a UV lamp and successive movement of teeth and occlusion correction is performed simultaneously with correction of the position of the patient's tongue.

EFFECT: methods, due to simultaneous correction of occlusion and position of patient's tongue, can reduce time of correction and increase its effectiveness.
