FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to orthodontics. Attachment for attachment of elastic tie-rod comprises a base and an elastic tie-rod retainer connected to the base, a part of which is made in the form of the first wall of the slot for the elastic tie-rod located opposite the part of the base, which is made in the form of the second wall of the slot for the elastic tie-rod. First wall of the slot for elastic traction has a section parallel to the second wall of the slot and a section located at an acute angle to the second wall of the slot. Base has a support surface with microroughnesses from 5 to 10 mcm for glue application and a contour in the form of a rectangle with angular curvatures. Retainer has rounded ends, a contour in the form of a base contour, a cross-section in the form of a longitudinal half of an ellipse and a longitudinal section in the form of an oval half. Thickness of the base in the section with the slot is less than the thickness of the retainer in the section with slot by 0.2–0.5 mm.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of orthodontic treatment by simplified installation of additional equipment on attachment.
