FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to development of a mode of final heat treatment of cold-deformed pipes from austenitic stabilized steel, intended for production of elements of equipment of thermal power plants. Method of heat treatment of cold-deformed pipes from steel “12X18H12T” includes austenisation of pipes obtained after rolling to finished size. Pipes are heated to temperature of 1,140–1,160 °C with exposure for 1.5–2.5 minutes, and then reheating to temperature of 870 °C with exposure for 1.5–2.5 hours with subsequent cooling in air.
EFFECT: obtaining cold-deformed pipes from steel “12X18H12T”, long-term strength of which is at the specified standard level, at the same time resistance to intercrystalline corrosion is achieved.
