FIELD: packing and storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a neck for a container, in particular for a sealed package filled with a liquid product, more specifically filled with a liquid food product. Neck (3) comprises at least annular element (5) having pouring outlet channel (6) configured to allow pouring of the bulk product, and cover assembly (7) having connecting ring (8) arranged with possibility of rotation around ring element (5), and cover (9) pivotally connected to connecting ring (8) and configured for angular movement around corresponding hinge axis (C). Cover (9) is made with possibility of its controlled transfer between at least configuration for closing, configuration for opening and intermediate configuration. Neck (3) comprises interaction means (16), partially integrated with ring element (5) and partially integrated with cover (9). Interaction means (16) is configured such that controlled transfer of cover (9) from closing configuration to intermediate configuration is possible only by turning cover (9) and connecting ring (8) around axis (E) of rotation and configured such that controlled transfer of cover (9) from intermediate configuration to closing configuration is possible by only angular movement of cover (9) around axis (C) of hinge from intermediate angular position to angular position during closing.
