FIELD: container lids.
SUBSTANCE: lid for a container comprises a side wall extending around the axis and a transverse wall located at the end of the side wall, wherein a separating line is made on the side wall to form a retaining ring that remains attached to the neck of the container, and a closure element that can connect with the neck with the possibility of disconnection, providing opening or closing of the container. Moreover, the separating line passes around the axis and is interrupted in the circumferential direction with the formation of a connecting part between the retaining ring and the closing element, while the lid additionally has a cut line passing transversely to the axis between the separating line and the free edge of the retaining ring so that between the separating line and the cutting line two connecting strips are formed connecting the retaining ring and the connecting part. Moreover, the connecting strips have a radial thickness measured in the radial direction, as well as a height measured parallel to the axis. Moreover, the ratio between the height and the radial thickness of the connecting strips is greater than or equal to 1.4, and the said ratio is less than or equal to 6.5. The group of inventions also relates to a combination of a lid and a container neck (variants). The aim of the invention is to improve known types of closures, in particular closures comprising a retaining ring that remains connected to the neck of the container, and a closure element that can releasably interact with the neck, allowing the user to open or close the container. Another purpose is to provide a container lid of the above type that is easy to manufacture. Yet another purpose is to provide a closure for a container having a closure that remains connected to the retaining ring and which does not require the use of very complicated moulds for its manufacture. Yet another purpose is to provide a container lid comprising a closure that remains connected to the retaining ring, the closure being held stationary in the open position. Another object of the invention is to provide a lid for a container which, when open, reduces the risk of the closure element accidentally hitting the user's face or preventing the substance contained in the container from pouring into a glass or similar vessel.
EFFECT: improved known types of closures.
