FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing olefins from heavy hydrocarbon fractions, including, among other things, sulphur impurities, metals and asphaltenes. Described is a method of producing olefins from a hydrocarbon material having a sulphur content greater than or equal to 0.1 wt.%, initial boiling point greater than or equal to 180 °C, final boiling point greater than or equal to 600 °C, wherein said method includes the following steps: a) deasphalting by extraction of said heavy hydrocarbon material with a solvent, b) hydroconversion carried out in a fluidised bed reactor, c) separation of the stream leaving the hydroconversion step b), d) extraction of aromatic compounds using a polar solvent from at least a portion of the fraction coming out of separation step c), e) hydrocracking in a fixed bed at least a portion of the extract fraction obtained in the extraction step d) in the presence of hydrogen and a hydrocracking catalyst, f) separation of the stream coming out of the hydrocracking step e) in the fixed bed, g) steam cracking of the raffinate fraction exiting the extraction step d), the fraction exiting the separation step c), and the liquid fraction exiting the separation step f), h) separating the stream exiting the steam cracking step g).
EFFECT: development of new methods which enable to obtain olefins from heavy hydrocarbon fractions more efficiently, economically and independently of the treated heavy hydrocarbon fraction.
