FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biotechnology, particularly to a method for enzyme production of a suspension of human corneal endothelial cells from a corneoscleral rim of a corneoscleral disc of a human donor cornea. This method involves instillation of an enzyme solution of an endothelial surface of a corneal rim of the cornea left after removal of the central corneal zone for the purpose of keratoplasty, aspiration and centrifugation of the obtained solution.
EFFECT: presented method is effective for tissue-sparing production of human corneal endothelial cells.
