FIELD: transportation; control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control over passenger aerial ropeway with detachable clamp, namely: system performs calculation and formation of control actions on actuators of passenger aerial ropeway (hereinafter – PAR), saves safe state of PAR depending on data on state coming from sensors, and operating mode specified by operator. Passenger aerial ropeway automated control system contains a safety control unit and rope position monitoring sensors installed on ropeway supports and stations, sensors determining the position of the cabin, located at the stations of the passenger aerial ropeway, end sensors located along cabin motion trajectory at stations, cabin door end position sensors and cabin clamping force control inductive sensors, sensors for monitoring operability of electromechanical and hydraulic devices, located on these devices, cabin movement speed sensors, limit switches located at bypass stations, wherein analogue and discrete values from above sensors are cyclically supplied to discrete and analogue input modules of two programmable logic controllers operating in a pair, which exchange information on safety and operating mode of passenger aerial ropeway between themselves via ETHERNET and controlling the driving and bypass stations of the passenger aerial ropeway, respectively, forming output values to the discrete and analogue output modules, which set the states of actuating devices, such as relays, valves, motors, and generating messages on operation of passenger aerial ropeway for signalling system.
EFFECT: providing continuous control and correction of position of suspensions on rope and station of passenger aerial ropeway.
