FIELD: spectrometry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of identifying signs of nuclides in a composite spectrum of ionizing radiation. Method involves calibrating a detector, recording a signal on the object to be analyzed and recording the obtained spectrum on a material carrier. Detector is calibrated on the full width at half-height of the peak, and equalization of the peak width at half-height is applied to the recorded spectrum—equi-width conversion with allowance for detector calibration. After equi-width conversion, performing analytical conversion of signal, involving use of a window function to compose a set of triangular filters and subsequent convolution of the spectrum with a window function. Transformed spectrum is recorded on a material carrier, signs of nuclides are detected in the transformed spectrum and the composition of the mixture of nuclides is determined from them.
EFFECT: higher resolution and simpler processing of spectra.
