SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MEASURING CONCENTRATION OF RADIOPHARMACEUTICAL AGENTS Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61N5/10 A61K51/00 A61M5/145

Abstract RU 2599866 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely, to means of supply of radiopharmaceutical materials. System of measuring radioactive concentration of the radiopharmaceutical agent comprises a container, the analysed area connected to it and formed from part of the container, a radiation detector, an aperture system having at least one optical element arranged between the analysed area and the radiation detector and made able to receive the radioactive concentration of radionuclide from the analysed area, data collection device providing for measurement of radiation of the analysed area, and a microprocessor system. Microprocessor system is configured to calculate radioactive concentration emitted by the radiopharmaceutical agent in the analysed area. Method of measuring radioactive concentration of the radiopharmaceutical agent in the concentration measurement system involves exposing the radiation detector to radiation emitted by the radiopharmaceutical agent, data collection from the output of the radiation detector through the data collection device electronic input, data conversion into digital format and its transfer to the microprocessor system, digital data analysis and calculation of radioactive concentration on the basis of the total value of radiation calculated as per at least one analysis algorithm.

EFFECT: using the inventions increases accuracy of measuring specific activity or radioactive concentration of pharmaceutical agent.
