SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing an aqueous solution of silver nanoparticles used in various fields of engineering and medicine. Method includes preparing an aqueous solution of a reducing agent in an aqueous solution of a stabilizer with addition of an alkali in a molar ratio of the reducing agent to the alkali in range of 1:3–1:5, introduction into the obtained solution of silver nitrate in the form of an aqueous solution in amount of 5·10−3 mol/l of silver ions, performing synthesis to obtain an aqueous solution of silver nanoparticles with concentration of 500 ppm. Reducing agent used is dihydroquercetin with concentration of 1·10−2 to 5·10−3 mol/liter in its deprotonated form, and the oxidised form of dihydroquercetin, obtained during a redox reaction when reducing silver, also acts as a nanoparticle stabilizer. Concentration of nanoparticle stabilizer varies from 1·10−2 to 4·10−2 mol/liter. During the whole synthesis process, the mixing rate is maintained in range of 500–700 rpm and the temperature mode in range of 20–60°C.

EFFECT: obtaining solutions of narrowly dispersed silver nanoparticles with dimensions in range of 2–80 nm.
