SUBSTANCE: method includes the stages of: a) modifying silicon dioxide; b) synthesis of polyacrylamide hydrogel using the silica obtained in step a); c) removing the resulting gel-like product from the reactor. The increased stability of the resulting moisture-retaining hydrogel is maintained at temperatures down to -40°C and moisture retention lasts up to 5 years.
EFFECT: method ensures the non-halogen production of a modified composite moisture-retaining hydrogel based on acrylic polymers, which has increased stability up to -40°C and increased duration of moisture retention, lasting up to 5 years.
