FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for producing an insulin-containing composition. A method for producing an insulin-containing composition, including immobilisation of insulin in the volume of crosslinked polyacrylamide modified with ovomucoid from duck egg protein, wherein the crosslinked polyacrylamide is additionally modified with mercaptoacetic acid by means of radical polymerisation at room temperature under the impact of a redox polymerisation catalyst of a water solution, followed by crushing the resulting hydrogel, washing with a bicarbonate buffer and drying, wherein the water solution comprises: acrylamide; N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide; ovomucoid from duck egg protein acylated with acrylic acid chloride; mercaptoacetic acid, taken in a certain ratio.
EFFECT: described method allows increasing efficiency of an insulin-containing composition by reducing the time of maximum decrease in the concentration of glucose in the blood in oral administration to 30-45 minutes.
