FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a two-step method for selective extraction of autochthonous yeast cultures of the genus Pichia from human and animal biological fluids secreted by mammary glands, including sowing 10% of the volume of the substrate sample of female breast and cow milk on sterile solid-phase storage media based on wheat or oat bran, milled to 5 mm, moistened to 50% with sterile water and cooled to room temperature, with addition of 10% carrots or without it with addition of 0.1% gentamycin in concentration of 40 mg/ml, followed by fermentation for 48 hours at 30°C with air access; sieving from places of visible growth, which is characteristic by culture characteristics for yeast, on a separating selective agar medium: 2% carrot agar with hydromodule 1:2, or 4% whey agar, or 2% bran agar with hydromodule 1:10, containing 0.1% gentamicin solution in concentration of 40 mg/ml, with thermostating 72 hours at 30°C.

EFFECT: invention widens the range of methods for selective extraction of autochthonous yeast cultures of the genus Pichia from human and animal biological fluids for including yeast cultures in the production of probiotic agents.
