Blood serum is recovered with subsequent aliquoting and determination of cytokine concentration IP10, MIG, IFNg by enzyme immunoassay. Risk of metastatic colorectal cancer progression after targeted anti-VEGF therapy is determined by formula: K=expz/(1+expz), where K is the probability of disease progression, from 0 to 1, z is regression coefficient z = -8.77+0.011*X1-0.008*X2+0.542*X3, X1 is concentration of cytokine IP10 in pg/ml, X2 is concentration of cytokine MIG in pg/ml, X3 is concentration of cytokine IFNg in pg/ml, -8.77, +0.011, -0.008, +0.542 are coefficients. If K is less than 0.26, the risk of progression is considered to be low. If K is equal to or more than 0.26, the risk of progression is high.

EFFECT: method enables the individual reliable prediction of the risk of progression after the targeted anti-VEGF therapy of metastatic colorectal cancer at the outpatient stage.
