FIELD: medicine; dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of making samples by milling for testing from zirconium dioxide with a cubic phase content of less than 50% for studying surface properties, which consists in the fact that first 3D model of the samples is created by selecting the shape of the model of the samples, then selecting the length, width, height and radius of the model of the samples, after which model holders are added, in the form of cylinders on the model surface, intended for the milled model separation from the zirconium dioxide block before sintering, then obtained 3D model of the samples is exported in the form of an STL file, the STL file of 3D model of the samples is loaded into the program for the milling machine MillBox and the model is placed in a zirconium disc, then milling strategy is checked for absence of errors, taking into account material relative to milling, then samples are loaded into CNC of milling machine and milled in accordance with proven milling strategy, further, the obtained samples are placed in a furnace and subjected to sintering; finally, the surface of the samples is treated with polishers for restorations from zirconium dioxide.
EFFECT: invention enables to produce test specimens from zirconium dioxide with content of cubic phase less than 50% without cracks and micro-chips irrespective of serial production.
