FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is intended for use in making a dental restoration from a workpiece having sections or layers of ceramic materials from different compositions, when making a dental restoration, loading ceramic materials into a mould, compressing ceramic materials to form a workpiece, workpiece is removed from the mould, the workpiece is subjected to temperature treatment, at the same time ceramic materials are loaded into the mould so that layers and/or sections after temperature treatment have a profile which can be available in the form of a set of digital data. That is followed by virtual contouring of the dental restoration taking into account shrinkage, providing a virtual image of the workpiece, placing the virtual depicted dental restoration in the virtual imaged blank taking into account the characteristics of materials of the layers and/or sections, data are determined for the workpiece, which correspond to the position of the virtually designed dental restoration or the mould in the workpiece, and also the data are transferred to the machine for dental restoration from the workpiece.
EFFECT: due to elimination of further treatment, the method allows reducing the denture manufacturing time, as well as increasing strength in the areas experiencing the greatest loads.
