FIELD: ammunition storage and packing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of packing engineering ammunition into a foam packet. Method of engineering ammunition packing into foam package includes engineering ammunition supply to packing conveyor equipment, on which a packing set of engineering ammunition is laid in a polyethylene packing bag. Further, a polyethylene barrier film is fed onto the package from above and from below. By the method of thermal action on the principle of welding with a heated object from two, i.e. on the left and right sides, the polyethylene film is bonded. Component of polymer material in a state accessible for foaming reaction is supplied from the remaining side of the obtained package through the foam-conducting tube. Remaining side of the obtained package from the polyethylene barrier film is bonded by thermal action using a heated element for insulation of polymer material in vacuum and foaming in required volume, and passing through the stepped belt, packing the packaging set into the foam package into the engineering ammunition container, thereby endowing polymer foamed material with final shape for packing into engineering ammunition containers.
EFFECT: simplification of technological process of packing, as well as improvement of safety of engineering ammunition during storage and transportation.
