FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, particularly to a diagnostic technique for porcine circovirus disease. Said method is based on fluorescent in-situ hybridisation (FISH) and involves the use of a hybridisation probe specific to a portion of a gene encoding a capsid protein of porcine circovirus type 2, wherein the object of the study is the native cryotomic sections of the lung and inguinal lymph node. Hybridisation probe used is a nucleotide sequence with a fluorescein-12-dUTP dye.
EFFECT: invention provides detecting the genetic sequence of porcine circovirus type II in virus-susceptible cells of organs (lung, inguinal lymph node) and wider range of diagnostic techniques for porcine circovirus infection.
