SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for diagnosing classical swine fever using fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH). The method involves the use of a nucleotide sequence in which pig organs are examined for the presence of a virus genome using a hybridization probe in the form of a nucleotide sequence CTGTGGCTAATAGTGACCTACATAGTTCTAACAGAACAACCCGCCGCTGGTTTACAGCTGGGCCAGGGTGAGGTAGTGTTAATAGGGAACTTAATTACCCACACAGACATTGAGGTTGTAGTATATTTCTTACTGCTCTATTTGGTCATGAGAGATGAGCCTATAAAGAAATG with fluorescein-12-dUTP dye detected under ultraviolet light as an emerald green glow inside susceptible cells.
EFFECT: invention is effective for detecting the genetic sequence of the classical swine fever virus in virus-susceptible cells of organs (tonsil, spleen and mesenteric lymph node) and expanding the arsenal of methods for diagnosing classical swine fever.
