FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: use to determine defectiveness of an object. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that for a given time in a controlled object mechanical vibrations are excited using a given driving force, generalized parameters of the spectrum of mechanical vibrations excited in the object are determined in the form of generalized control parameters of the spectrum of vibrations excited in the object, the obtained generalized parameters are compared with pre-set values, by the excess of which the presence of a defect is determined. During the entire exposure time, a dimensionless deviation function is determined for vibrations excited in the object, determined by calculation, and the presence of a defect is determined by comparing the dimensionless deviation function with the permissible boundary of the defect state of the objects of the corresponding type, determined in advance by simulating the effect of common defects and/or by static analysis of data of previous tests of samples of objects of the corresponding type.
EFFECT: high accuracy and simplification of determining defectiveness of an object.
