FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to composition of polymer material used in road construction, as well as construction industry in general, especially for making foamed articles heat insulation, as well as to a method for production thereof. Modified foamed material consists of technical carbon and/or micronized polytetrafluoroethylene powder 5–10 wt.%, 55% talcum concentrate 1–2 wt.%, 95% of glycerol monoastearate concentrate 1–2 wt.% and high-pressure polyethylene grade 158 86–93 wt.%. Production of foamed material is carried out by extrusion at certain temperature parameters of drying of each component, foaming of material is carried out by feeding liquefied isobutane gas into one of the zones of the extruder or into several zones at a time.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics of foamed material and reduced flammability.
