FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of measuring residual content of corrosion inhibitors in formation waters. Method for determining concentration of inhibitors involves cyclic polarization of metal electrodes in an electrochemical cell, recording of cyclic voltamperograms, taking into account as one of electrochemical characteristics the amount of electricity equal to the area under the peak of the anode current, or the amount of electricity equal to the total area of the anode and cathode peaks, or the maximum current strength of the corresponding peak, plotting a calibration curve and finding an unknown inhibitor concentration in the analytical solution from it. A version of the proposed solution is a method for determining the concentration of corrosion inhibitors in formation water, which includes cyclic polarization of metal electrodes in an electrochemical cell, registration of cyclic voltamperograms and accounting of their data using a regression model obtained as a result of machine training of a deep neural network on numerical arrays of current values and numerical arrays, carrying information on characteristic features of cyclic voltamperograms calculated automatically during statistical processing.
EFFECT: simplified process of determination of corrosion inhibitor concentration.
