FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire protection, namely to methods of assembling devices for passive fire protection of engineering communications. Method for assembling fire protection of engineering communications, consisting of a collapsible fire-resistant box or steel box with fire-retardant plates, consists in assembling separate segments of collapsible fire-resistant box, consisting of steel tray and steel cover, or steel box with fire-retardant plates; assembling the steel tray of the segment of the collapsible fire-resistant box, wherein the outer steel tray of the segment is connected to the inner steel tray of the segment through a gasket with reduced heat conductivity by means of connectors; assembling the steel cover of the segment of the collapsible fire-resistant box, wherein the outer steel cover of the segment is connected to the inner steel cover of the segment through a gasket with reduced heat conductivity by means of connectors, or separate segments of the steel box with fireproof plates are assembled, wherein the fireproof plates are connected to the steel box on four sides with connectors, and the joints between the plates are filled with a thermally expandable material; connecting separate segments of collapsible fire-resistant box or steel box with fire-retardant plates to each other, wherein separate segments of collapsible fire-resistant box or steel box with fire-proof plates are butt-jointed or overlapped by connectors while joints between segments are filled with heat-expanding material.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of installation of fire protection of engineering communications on site, as well as increasing the accuracy of assembling the structure of fire protection of engineering communications in accordance with the design documentation of the facility or with the process regulations (instructions) of the manufacturer.
