FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire protection, namely to devices for passive fire protection of engineering communications, made of steel sheets in the form of a box. Fire-resistant box for engineering communications, consisting of separate segments, wherein each segment is connected to the next segment by overlapping or butt joints, and the joints of the segments are treated with a fire-retardant thermo-expanding material, at the same time each segment consists of an outer steel tray with an outer steel cover and an inner steel tray with an inner steel cover, wherein filler is arranged between walls of outer steel tray and inner steel tray and between outer steel cover and inner steel cover.
EFFECT: increased fire protection of engineering communications, as well as reduced time for maintenance, repair and replacement of engineering communications.
